| Weekly Tidbits of Wisdom Essential Oil Room Mist During the winter, our homes tend to become stagnant since we can't open windows and doors to allow fresh air to flow through. To combat this, I make up Essential Oil Room Mists. I prefer using these far more than the artificial smelling air fresheners on the market. Creating an Essential Oil Room Mist is quite simple. All you need are true essential oils, water, and a spray bottle. You add 10-20 drops of essential oil to a 4 ounce spray bottle of distilled water. You need to shake well before each use. Lavender is very common to use because of it's soothing and relaxing properties. Lemongrass Essential Oil has an uplifting effect. What else can we do to uplift the energy in our home? Place a few vases of fresh cut flowers. Prune your indoor houseplants - be sure they are healthy and have no brown or dead leaves, if so, take them off. Play uplifting music that makes you feel good. Draw the curtains back, and let the sun in! Clear your clutter. |

Wealth Fame Love/Relationships Family Health Children / Creativity Knowledge Career Helpful People MAIN ENTRANCE ___________________________________________ These are the nine sectors recognized in Feng Shui. At the bottom of the map, you will notice that I have printed Main Entrance. To use the map you would need to stand at the Main Entrance of your home (usually the front door), facing into your home, with the map in front of you. Imagine the map to be superimposed on your floorplan. The very back left corner of your home would be your Wealth section for the entire home, and so on. You can also use the map to find the sectors in each individual room by standing in the doorway of each room, facing into the room, and locate your sectors. There are also certain colors that you could accent with that are auspicious for each sector: Wealth: Green, Blue, Purple, Red Fame: Red Marriage/Love: Red, Pink, White Family: Green Health: Yellow, Brown Children/Creativity: White Knowledge: Black, Blue, Green Career: Black Helpful People: White, Grey,Black |
