Creating personal and sacred space in the our homes where we can rejuvenate the mind and body and focus our intentions on that which we desire to create is such a rewarding practice. I strongly believe in the Power of Intention, and find that using Feng Shui allows us a wonderful forum to do that in. Your home is a reflection of who you are. It is here that you return at the end of the day for nurturing, inspiration, and renewal. Feng Shui has existed for thousands of years and originated in China. Quite simply it is the Art of Placement. We use this art of placement to arrange our furniture and symbolic treasures in a way that produces a more harmonized tone and provides us greater comfort and ease. Using the Bagua system, in which I also combine elemental focus, assessment of energetic ley-lines, and intention coding, Feng Shui focuses on nine basic areas: Wealth/Abundance, Fame, Love/Relationships, Family, Health, Children/Creativity, Wisdom, Career, and Helpful People. Within my consultations we begin by assessing what your current goals are and what you are desiring to change or create. We then do a walk through of the home, attention given to those areas that you don't particularly feel comforting to you and that you would like to improve. We consider the goals and intentions already discussed previously and recommendations are made in how to improve the Bagua Sectors involved. Residential Homes: $ 75 hour Businesses: $ 90 hour |

| "Love Our Earth" Peace Tile Project Jeanne is a member of the International Peace Tile Project. She and her students are creating a mural of tiles with the theme of "Love Our Earth". (Topics focus on environmentalism such as, rain forests, conservation, recycling, clean fuels, organic gardening, no genetically engineered foods, just to name a few). This will be a 'Traveling Mural' within our own and surrounding Upstate communities as well as tiles linked with the International Peace Tile Project. With her students at the TRAM Gallery having completed their tiles, she has invited the youth at the Greenville Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to create tiles that can be added to the mural. On Dec. 10th, she introduced the youth to the meaning of the project, worked on the creation of their tiles, and is now working with other students on expanding on the mural. This is a wonderful opportunity for youth to not only learn about environmental issues but to also learn how their artwork can become a 'voice' for them, expressing how they feel about issues in the world today. If you are interested in having your youth group participate in this program, contact Jeanne. Email Jeanne |
